DAREDEVIL DANIEL

     Finally D- Day came. We reached Skydive Cape Town around 10:30am, hoping to return this time with Daniel’s mission accomplished.

We found ourselves continually looking at the sky. It was clear, blue and sunny, with a cool breeze – a perfect day for skydiving! We were hoping that the weather would not change (again) before his jump.  I will never forget the look on Daniel’s face when roll call for dress up was done – his look was priceless when he heard the announcement of his name! He was feeling very excited, however Mom’s nerves were shot, as if he was going to war to save our country (and yes my eyes did well up, twice, when he left and when he landed)

Time to take the leap! Daniel went second – thanks to his instructor Rob who bent his head back on his shoulder within fraction of seconds before his jump!

Yes! he did SKYDIVING! Yes! he did his first JUMP!
